The Vice President of Marketing and Communication works with stakeholders across Sonic Healthcare USA to support business growth.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role is responsible for leading the marketing function which is charged with development and implementation of marketing strategies and creation of materials that support the profitable growth of the business. This includes market assessment, definition of customer segments and positioning of relevant and differentiated service offerings, and development and execution of a marketing strategy and plan that drives profitable growth for the businesses through successful customer acquisition, retention, and optimization.
This individual selected will ideally be a subject matter expert in the clinical laboratory space and will serve as an organizational resource for all facets of customer, market, industry, and the competitive environment as it relates to the market. The role is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and translating market data to drive development and positioning of our service offering and vision, as well as leading creation and execution of supporting programs designed to maximize Sonic Healthcare USA’s market share. This individual integrates a broad understanding of the laboratory market and its healthcare industry influences with an ability to define and execute diverse strategic marketing programs. This role will possess strategy, marketing, and/or product management experience, combined with proven abilities to develop and lead programs that drive positive business outcomes.
The Vice President of Marketing and Communication will be a member of the Executive Leadership Team.
