Accountable for the daily sorting and opening of incoming mail, including payments, denials, correspondence, (both patient, insurance, and Associate) and the calculating, batching, and deposits of all received materials.
Respects and maintains the confidentiality of information processed. Works with minimal direction; seeks additional help/information as needed from Team leader or Supervisor. Operates general computer CRT, PC, check scanner, telephone, photocopier, and fax.
Education:High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum of one year experience in accounting, with six months of banking background. At least one year of experience working in health insurance in Explanation of Benefits is preferred.
Skills:Must have proven record in excellent written and verbal skills. Ten key by touch skills. Ability prioritize incoming work requests and meet deadlines. Ability to read and write English.
